Why I love Björk

This image of Björk has been on my 'vision board' (it's more like a yearly concept board) for two years and last Saturday night I had one of the most magical nights of my life seeing her in concert.

I didn't have her on my board because I wanted to 'manifest' a free Björk concert with seats in the 7th row, a beautiful hotel, night out on the town in San Francisco with the MOST amazing ladies (although all of those things happened).

She was on my board because I've always thought of her as a beacon of light when it comes to following your authenticity.

If you've been following along in this free training, Tuesday I talked about 'Why we abandon ourselves' and how we don't feel safe being our true authentic self and sharing it.

But Björk seems like she shares ALL OF HERSELF. The achingly deep dark and light of her lyrics, the innovative, cutting edge sounds, the weird swan dress. I'm sure she may struggle too, but it seems like her ESSENCE is there for all to see. It's a gift and it is POWERFUL. She has touched so many people by just being herself. And she gives no f*cks if people don't get it.

If you don't like Björk, just replace her with whoever your favorite artist or musician is. Why do they touch you deeply? How much would you pay for that experience? Do you know you have that power within you?

These artists show us what is possible when we are unapologetic and fully aligned with our CREATIVE CALLING
.

The culture that we live in is based on systems of oppression that have told you the only choice in life you have is to follow the norm. To listen to the formula you've been given. But there is something inside of you calling you to a different life. A life where you can share your gifts with the world and in return feel valued and get paid.

If you are ready to start the journey, let's chat - it's MY GREATEST HONOR TO SEE YOU SHINE AND UNCOVER YOUR INNER BJÖRK (or whoever your weirdo is). I've got two spots open in my 6-month 1:1 coaching package open for you.
