“I always knew my creative work was important to me, but I didn't know how to make it a priority or how to integrate it with who I wanted to become. I felt unable to create consistently in the way that I wanted, but I didn’t know why. When I initially met with Esther, I got a sense that she was witnessing my core desires, giving me permission to follow them, and that she would be able to walk with me in this season and journey.

Throughout the six-month mentorship program, I rediscovered parts of my creative process I’d given up on, deepened the connection to my story and my intuition, and I came to realize that by spending some time on that connection each day instead of ignoring it and just ‘trying to get to work,” I actually feel that I have more effective working time in each day.

The most important thing that I learned in over the six months is that it’s ok to spend time in play, and that a collection can be an exploration of process and time.
